Public Service Commission (PSC) Recruitment System is a web based platform which will provide an online job application experience to the applicants for participating in the e-recruitment process. The e-SPA link is https://recruitment.gov.bn and it can also be accessed through the e-Darussalam portal at www.gov.bn or PSC website at www.spa.gov.bn.  A registered e-Darussalam account is a mandatory requirement to create an account in the system.

Once the system is activated online, job-seekers will be able to create their own candidate profile and upload personal information including academic qualifications, work experiences, submit applications as well as track status of their applications online at their own convenience.  The system enforces the desired governance model over the recruitment process and increases the overall operational transparency and process efficiency.  It replaces the civil service information system which has been used since 1999.

The PSC Recruitment System provides services such as:

   
1.e-Services comprising of online recruitment services for the Government job application that requires login to e-Darussalam portal
   
2.Useful announcement for the citizen regarding on written exam schedule, daily (7A) & monthly paid Advertisement for the Government job openings.
   
3.Other useful information e.g. job search and top 5 openings

A registered e-Darussalam account is a mandatory requirement to create an account in the system.For civil servants, they have to ensure their records of service and personal data in the Government Employee Management System (GEMS) are updated and verified accordingly.With the implementation of the Online Recruitment System, it will be mandatory for all job applicants including government civil servants, to submit job application online through the portal.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to the  Online Recruitment method in his Titah during the 21st Civil Service Day at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas on November 27, 2014 corresponding to 04 Safar 1436.  The objective is to accelerate the recruitment process to fill in job vacancies in the Government sector which is expected to be implemented  in the first quarter of this year.
